At Halcyon, we offer custom design and manufacturing of personalised jewellery items made to fit your specific wants and needs. Whether it be engagement rings, wedding bands, a gift for a special someone, or just something you have always wanted but never been able to find.

We are excited to join you on the journey towards creating your perfect piece of jewellery.

 

How It Works

  • Click on the "Book A Bespoke Consultation" button above and follow the steps to fill out the appointment form. 
  • When booking an appointment for a bespoke jewellery consultation, you will receive a 50-minute time slot in which we will discuss your ideas. Our expert jeweller will take notes during this session which will inform the design process. This consultation can be virtual or in person.
  • After the consultation, please allow for 2-3 working days to receive an email with the initial designs and quotations.
  • From here, any necessary revisions can be made before you sign off on the final design. Quotations will be adjusted accordingly.
  • All quotations are valid for 10 working days from receipt. If a quote is not accepted within the 10-day period, a new one will be created reflecting updated pricing.
  • The turnaround time for bespoke commissions is 4-6 weeks from confirmation to completion. This may vary slightly depending on the complexity of the design. If you need your piece sooner, please notify us during our initial consultation and we will try our best to accommodate a quicker turnaround time.

Bespoke Design FAQ's

  • How long will the design and manufacturing process take?
    • The turnaround time for bespoke commissions is 4-6 weeks from confirmation to completion.
  • Will you work with stones and metal from an item of jewellery I already have?
    • Yes. We are happy to work with you to transform your existing jewellery. We can discuss what you have during the bespoke design consultation.
  • Do you offer virtual consultations?
    • Yes, we do offer virtual consultations. We are based in Paarden Eiland, Cape Town. If you are nearby, we encourage you to visit us in person to get the most out of your design experience.
  • Is a deposit required for bespoke orders?
    • Once the design is confirmed, a 50% deposit is required in order to begin the manufacturing process. The remaining 50% will be due before collection or shipping of the completed piece.
